You should do a secondary survey of the person to look for injuries that are not life-threatening. There are three parts to this :
Ask Questions. Interview the person ( if not conscious) and other people at the scene to get more information.
Check the vital signs, consciousness, breathing, skin color, and temperature.
Check the person for injuries from head to toe.
